Guest House in Hartbeespoort

Premier Guest House Accommodation in Hartbeespoort

Just make one trip to the glorious village of Hartbeespoort and you will fall in love with this pretty sub-tropical town and its friendly, hospitable people. Because we fully understand this, it is why we purposely chose to locate our prestigious guest house, hotel, wedding and conference venue here.

There are other fine guest houses in Hartbeespoort, but ours is uniquely situated on a private estate, which enables us to accommodate this variety of venues with ease, and the privacy and facilities required by each.

4 Star Guest Accommodation

Guests have the choice of making a reservation to stay over either in our luxurious 4 star hotel or at our 4 star guest house suites/apartments. Both provide stunning views over the magnificent Magaliesberg Mountains and/or the tranquil waters of the Hartbeespoort Dam, and are set in the midst of lovingly tended gardens, so typical of our area.

Hotel guests are accommodated in 60 air-conditioned spacious rooms. Those with balconies offer panoramic views, whilst ground floor rooms open up and lead directly out to tranquil landscaped gardens, where visitors are free to relax at their leisure and make use of the sparkling swimming pool.

Guest house, apartment style units are available in three different options – travellers delight, double economy and executive suites. All feature private en-suite bathroom facilities, television sets with select DStv channel access and open patios or balconies with lovely views, except for the executive options, which have private balconies.

Amenities in the travellers delight and double economy categories are of deluxe standard, with those in the latter group qualifying as exclusive amenities, also incorporating a private lounge, ideal for an elegant champagne breakfast. All are equipped with in-room tea and coffee making facilities.

Dining

This piece of paradise, our beautiful estate, is owned by a well-known Pretoria catering concern, which has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry; our visitors and guests alike are in for a real treat and special fare when it comes to dining with us.

In fact, many visitors make a special trip to Hartbeespoort on a Sunday, just to enjoy our sumptuous lunchtime buffet, spend a bit of quality time and then return home again, many travelling from the greater Gauteng region. Once our weekend visitors and diners realised that our menu changes every week, we soon became their firm favourite Sunday lunch destination.

To start the day, scrumptious, full English breakfasts are served in the La Rouge restaurant, which also offers peckish guests, who are not out and about savouring the sights and sounds of the area, a lighter, snack style menu throughout the day.

The Fire Fly bar lounge is perfect for enjoying a relaxing drink or cocktail, when the African sun begins to retire behind the mountain peaks, before you move through to the La Rouge once more for a gourmet, à la carte dining experience. Meals are lovingly created by our master chef – fine European style dining with a touch of African influenced flavour fusion.

Explore Local Attractions

There is an enormous amount of things to see, do and experience, in and around our corner of South Africa – Harties, as it is fondly known by locals and fellow countrymen alike. Because of our region’s unique terrain, climate and weather, visitors are spoiled for choice, actually requiring more than just one weekend to sample only a few of our local delights.

Pecanwood Golf & Country Club is close by, as is the upgraded Aerial Cableway, offering astonishing, wide vistas from the top of one of our mountains. Nature lovers are in for a treat, as elephant, cheetah, chameleon and monkey sanctuaries, a snake park and zoo are virtually on our doorstep.

Then, there’s the Jasmyn Farm Stall, Lesedi Cultural Village, Van Gaalen Kaasmakerij and more, if you fancy a spot of shopping. Adventure and thrill seekers – get ready to experience another perspective of Harties from the basket of a hot-air balloon, or indulge your rock climbing and abseiling ambitions. Hike, ride, walk, cycle or tackle a tough 4x4 trail.

So Accessible

Not only is our Hartbeespoort estate and guest house perfectly situated as a base from which to explore the area and its multitude of attractions, but it is also very easily accessible from Gauteng’s major centres. We are a 20-minute drive from central Pretoria and Lanseria International Airport, and travellers departing from OR Tambo International Airport can comfortably arrive on our doorstep after a leisurely 55-minute scenic drive.
